The water district is planning to extend and install new water lines along several currently unserved roads. These roads include Melrose Road, which will be served from Sonora Hardin Springs Road (KY 84) to Silver Mine Road, and Flint Hill Road (KY 720), which will be served from Cash Road (KY 2800) to Millerstown Road (KY 224).

The district is currently working on the planning and design for these new water line extensions, and construction is expected to begin in mid-2025. Once completed, these new water lines will provide essential water service to areas that currently do not have access, improving the availability of clean, reliable water for residents along these roads.
