Cassidy Pendleton has been a vital part of our team for nearly eight years, and in that time, she has worn many hats, tackled countless responsibilities, and continued to grow both personally and professionally.

Cassidy’s role varies depending on the time of the month. At the beginning of each month, her focus is on reconciling bank accounts. By the middle of the month, she shifts gears to handle invoice input, vendor payments, and board meeting preparations. As the month wraps up, she’s already preparing for the next cycle. Her consistency and attention to detail help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

While she plays an essential role in our operations, one of Cassidy’s proudest accomplishments happened outside of work by earning and maintaining a 4.0 GPA while pursuing her accounting degree, all while working full-time. She’s excited to be graduating this December!

When asked what drives Cassidy, the answer was simple: her family, friends, and coworkers. Knowing that others rely on her to deliver accurate and consistent work is a powerful motivator. She finds deep fulfillment in being part of a team that truly cares about the customers and the community we serve.

Some of Cassidy’s favorite memories at work go beyond the desk. One standout moment was decorating Signature Health for Christmas. Meeting the residents and bringing holiday cheer was a heartwarming experience that left a lasting impression. Although, it’s not just the big moments that make this job special for Cassidy; it’s the everyday connections. She loves coming to work and spending her days with a team that feels more like family. “We’ve all experienced huge life events together,” she says, “and I love getting to watch all their babies grow!”

If given the chance to swap jobs for a day, Cassidy says she’d love to step into the shoes of a treatment plant operator. She’s seen nearly every side of the water district except the day-to-day operations of the plant, and she’s fascinated by the science behind water treatment and testing.
