The District works with numerous contractors and vendors for various projects and products by soliciting bids for proposal. This helps guarantee the District receives services and supplies in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.

Current Bids

Flint Hill Road Water Line Extension

Hardin County Water District No. 2 (the “District”) will receive sealed bids for water line construction of the Flint Hill Road Water Line Extension at the District office, at 1951 West Park Rd/P.O. Box 970, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702, until 11:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. local time on April 8, 2026, at the District office. Attendance is highly recommended, but is not required.

The contract consists of approximately of 30,900′ of 4″ & 6″ distribution main and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and operating potable water main. All water main and encasement materials, fittings, hydrants, valves, and necessary appurtenances are supplied by the District.
