Our current Employee of the Quarter is Robert Nation, a third shift treatment operator as our White Mills Treatment Plant. Robert holds a Class IV drinking water license and has been part of the HCWD2 team since 2022.

Robert’s responsibilities are carefully monitoring and optimizing chemical levels to help ensure the community receives clean, safe drinking water.

One of Robert’s proudest accomplishments during his time with the District has been earning his water treatment license from the State of Kentucky. 

What Robert finds most fulfilling about his work is knowing that he makes a positive impact on people’s lives by providing them with clean and safe drinking water. He says that being responsible for the health of the local community motivates him to do the best job possible each day.

One of Robert’s favorite memories from his time with the District was the replacement of the water line running from the treatment plant to the clearwell. He also enjoys the autonomous nature of his position and having the opportunity to solve the day-to-day issues that come with operating a water treatment plant.
